Getting Metallic Taste In Mouth, Low Grade Fever, Ringing In Ears And Pain All Over Body. Treatment?
Thanks for sharing your concern.
The symptoms are non-specific, but, suggestive of an acute infectious process; most of these tend to be viral, and most of them related to an infection of the upper respiratory tract (airway from the mouth to above the lungs). Other localizing symptoms include sore throat, sneezing, runny nose, cough, hoarse voice; most of these are self limited, meaning that symptoms should gradually improve within 3 to 7 days. More serious symptoms of an infection, such as high fevers, drenching sweats, severe respiratory difficulty, severe throat pain, severe ear pain, ear secretion, etc might warrant a visit to urgent care, as these could be indicative of a bacterial infection, in which case antibiotics would be needed.
Hope that helps with your query.
