Question: How safe is give Gudcef drops and Maxtra drops to g6pd deficiency infant who is 1 month 15 days old.

Brief Answer: Not contraindicated in normal dosage. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing to health care magic. I can understand your concern. Why are you using all those medications in a baby of one and half months. For common cold etc try and avoid any mediations as those medications are not really recommended in that age group. If there is any cold and nose blockage use normal saline drops to clear the nostrils. We normally do not recommend frequent and unnecessary medications to the babies we attend to. Nevertheless those medications are not contraindicated in normal dosage in G6pd deficiency. Continue to ask further queries as required. Hope this helps. Take care.
