How Soon After Ectopic Pregnancy Can One Try To Conceive?
Question: Hi Dr.
After 1st ectopic pregency my dr.had wait for 1st period and after 1st period he have start to give shappine 50 tab and Hemugo 150 in. Can you tell me Can we try for send baby immediately

1 ) First of all do not panic.
2 ) Sorry to hear about the episode of Ectopic pregnancy .
3 ) Usually after any such episode, I suggest to my patients to give at least 3 months of rest before planning for the next pregnancy.
Use of vitamin B 12, Folic acid omega 3 supplements on daily basis at least for 3 months before you plan to get pregnant is advisable. This helps to prevent various complications during the pregnancy.
4 ) Also, I will suggest to get HSG - hysterosalpingography done, after next menses , within first ten days of the cycle. This will help to know the patency status of the fallopian tubes.
Unless the fallopian tubes are patent , there is no point in inducing egg formation with medicines.

Dr.we have not done any laparoscopy surgery for ectopic pregency. After abortion we have done usg ultrasound the report is normal and everything is clear. After USG report we have visited to our dr. He told us to come 2nd day of period to take Tab siphene 50 and from 4th day Humog 150 ung have started. Can u tell me still is it not safe for next pregency after one month of ectopic pregency.

Dr. We have done the test and the report are normal.both the tubes are normal
. Still it is risky for next pregency within one month
