Is Heart Rate Of 66 Bpm A Cause For Concern?
Question: I take many prescription medications for various issues (Lupus, hypothyroidism, high blood pressure, pain management, depression and anxiety)
Prozac, Buspar, Trazadone, Levothyroxine, Lisinipril-HCTZ, Methadone, Norco, Atenolol, Plaquenil and as of about an hour ago, Atarax.
I'm lying here, watching TV and my heart rate is only 66 but right now I am very aware of my heart beating! Palpitations and such. Should I be
concerned? I'm very sleepy right now but afraid to go to sleep :-(

Brief Answer:
Heart rate is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.
66 heart rate is well within normal range.
I think palpitations are due to your apprehension.
You can sleep without any worries. You will be fine.
The number of drugs are too much but you must be taking these drugs regularly. So, need not worry.
Happy sleeping :)
Thanks.
