Suggest Alternate Medication For Severe Anxiety And OCD

Question: I have severe anxiety and OCD.

Im on Klonopin right now.

My question is that klonopin doesn't really work quickly for panic attacks- is another medication in this class this works faster for relief?

Klonopin is good drug for anxiety and immediate relief. It is used worldwide for this purpose.
If you are not feeling relief quickly, dose can be increased. Mouth dissolving preparation is more effective for such cases.
Please let me know your dose of klonopin and since when are you taking.

Other options is lorazepam or alprazolam. Both these drugs are from same group benzodiazepine like klonopin.They have same effects like klonopin but alprazolam is more potent.

Low dose antipsychotic medicine like flupenthixol, trifluoperazine, risperidone or olanzapine can be used for short duration to curtail anxiety.

Ultimate treatment of OCD with anxiety is SSRI medicines and psychotherapy.

You can discuss above aspects with your treating doctor and change medicines accordingly.
