Hi
Welcome to health care magic.
Your mother is havingadverse effect of the drug.
She is also having drug dependence so difficulty in discontinuing the same.
Ideally these drugs should be tapered off in the supervision of a clinician.
The dose is gradually cut down and patient is monitored for any adverse effect.
I hope the advice will be helpful for you.
I find this answer helpful
