Brief Answer:
meprate can be taken during lactation

Detailed Answer:
Hello there, I understand your concern.
In my opinion Tab. Meprate can be taken during lactation in place of Primolut N.

Meprate is a medroxyprogesterone hormone and it does not effect the lactation.

1)For postponing menstruation :-
Tab.Meprate 10 mg twice a day starting 3 days before the expected period and continued not more than 10 days.
Bleeding is seen 3 to 7 days after the last dose.

2)For contraception:-
Injection Meprate 150 mg once every 3 months.

3)For heavy bleeding:-
Tab.Meprate 10 mg from 21 st day for 5 days.
Bleeding is seen after 2 to 3 days.

4)For no periods or withdrawal bleeding:-
Tab.Meprate 10 mg twice daily for 5 days.

Meprate tablet to be taken daily at same time for good results.
