Why Am I Not Getting My Periods After Laparoscopic Surgery?

I had laparoscopic surgery to remove endometriosis on 3/4/14, since the surgery, I have it received my menstrual cycle. I completed a 10 day course of medroxyprogesterone this past Friday. I am still waiting for the return of my cycle. I am 37 and I am fearing this May be the beginning of menopause. I am looking for any help to explain the reason for me missing my cycle. Is this normal .

Hello,

The missing cycle can be due to the weakness and stress related to the surgery. You should wait for a few weeks and let the normal bleeding resume on its own.
