Brief Answer: REGULAR CONTRACEPTIVE PILL IS BEST. Detailed Answer: Hello, Thanks for writing to us. 1) If you are NEWLY MARRIED and plan for pregnancy after 2 years, then best contraceptive option is REGULAR COMBINED PILL (like FEMILON etc). It should be taken from D1 of menstrual cycle for 21 days continuously with 7 days gap to get monthly period. It will give highest protection (around 99.9%) against unwanted pregnancy after 1-month used. In the first month, some back up method like CONDOM should be used to get maximum protection. 2) If you have delivered baby recently and want to plan next pregnancy after 2 years, then best contraceptive method is INTRAUTERINE DEVICE (like COPPER T or MIRENA). You need to consult with gynecologist for overall clinical assessment before using any type of contraceptive method for long term purpose. Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion, if you don't have any other query. Wish your good health and take care yourself.
