Question: My child whose age is 7 is over weight ... Her weight is 40 kg with height as 4 feet 3 inch . Can you please sugesst some tips or diet plan as to how to reduce her weight .

Weight at 7 year should be around 25 kg, if it's more than 35 kg it will come in obesity.

There are some conditions like hypothyroidism which can also result in obesity in children.

Other causes are lack of physical activity, unhealthy eating patterns and genetic factors (very rare).

I suggest you to do thyroid levels in child.

Change eating patterns like
Avoid junk food like burger, pizzapizza.
Avoid cold drinks
Take salads in diet
Try to reduce calorie intake to 2500 per day
Avoid oily food items like butter

You should apply above suggestion very slowly as weight should be reduced slowly.
