Suggest Remedies For Withdrawal Symptoms Of Szetalo Plus
Question: Hi,
I have started anxiety disorder in 2012 and used Szetalo Plus (Clonazepam(0.5 mg),Escitalopram(10 mg)) for my anxiety disorder for 1 year and then after my doctor changed it to Depof 37 (Chlordiazepoxide 10 MG+Imipramine 25 MG+Trifluoperazine 1.5 MG+Trihexiphenidyl 0.5 MG), which i continued for nearly 3 years.
But due to discontinuation in supply of Depof 37, i had to stop taking the tablet and after 2-3 days i experienced serious withdrawal symptoms, i felt hot and cold flashes inside my body, i felt severe headache which is literally unbearable, i felt pain in my mouth and jaws, i felt pain in my neck, i felt seriously weak and my eyes were also very dry so that i was not able to blink.
Then i started Szetalo Plus again from previous week but i am not feeling the same level of comfort, still feeling hot and cold flashes like symptoms and feeling severe headache which is simply unbearable. what should i do ?
please help me, i am feeling like loosing my all

As you might be knowing that action by antidepressants take time. For example Szetalo plus often takes around 2-4 weeks to show the complete response. So in ideal setting it will not be wrong to say that within next one week or two week you will feel alright or atleast near to your past status.
In case it is not possible to wait you can ask your doctor to prescribe librium 10 mg and Amitone 25 mg along with current prescription for short duration. This will help you in controlling over withdrawal symptoms.I must inform you that unsupervised use of medication often creates more harm to individual than any benefit and the suggested medication should be discontinued as soon as possible/at the point szetalo starts working.

As I stated above the librium and Amitone are indicated only when there are unmanageable symptoms. First of all I will request you to wait for few days as more than one week already passed and you will feel better in few days.
In case you need them they should be for temporary purpose and not for long duration. I mean once the withdrawal symptoms are controlled they should be discontinued.
Regarding prescription you need to see a doctor in person. Nobody is authorized to issue prescription without personally examining patient and same is applicable to me.
