Is there any other option as my mum does not want to go for an MRi scan.Is there any other alternative option. What could happen if she does not go for an MRI?Also cluster headaches have been mentioned. She has mentioned these symptoms to
her doctors who has said she has just have to get on with it, and said it would only mean more medication otherwise.

Brief Answer:
Specific information
Detailed Answer:
If she's not willing for MRI a simple CAT scan of the brain with contrast may help. The view is to know why she's developing headaches. So it's not like she will improve by just doing the scan. The scan may give us a specific direction and treatment can be given according to the reports.
As for cluster headache, I think he is right. the headaches are usually so short that no medicine will help. Inhalation oxygen is the best solution for cluster headache.
