Suggest Treatment For Bloated Feeling With Nausea

Question: I felt very bloated, nauseous, and couldnt eat yesterday. I think im constipated. I drank a bottle of magnesium citrate at 7pm? 12 hours ago, and only had one dime-sized flake of poop come out. I had a bit of gas and burping but no bowel movement. Im preparing to use a fleet enema laxative. Why wouldnt magnesium citrate produce a bowel movement!?!?
Brief Answer:
Enema stronger laxative than magnesium citrate
Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
In some cases magnesium citrate just isn't strong enough. So I do recommend taking the enema which is mostly effective. Also enough fluid intake is advisable and moving around/ walking to get the bowel movement active. However if this occurs more often or over longer periods of time i recommend doing a general health checkup to rule out any factors that might add to the problem for ex. hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormones) or others.
Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarifications you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer.
Best regards

The enema relwased a cup or so of chalky clay like stool. Is that normal? I rhought its be hard .
Brief Answer:
can be normal, enema softens stool
Detailed Answer:
Dear Patient,
yes this can be a normal thing after taking an enema, since it softens the stool. You can also repeat it after a few hours to keep things going. Best regards
