Suggest Treatment For Cyst On Thyroid Gland

Question: I am a 41 year old female. About a year ago an 8mm cyst had been found on thyroid gland from a scan. I recently had another scan the cyst has grown to 18mm.
What is the course if treatment

Good day,
Noted the concern.
The fisrt step is to do a thyroid blood test ( TSH and Free T4).
Then you will require a needle test ( FNA) of the cyst since it is > 1cm and as it has grown more than double in one year. Could you attach the ultrasound report please?
Further treatment is based on the TSH reports and FNA.

Have had several thyroid functioning test- doctor said they are in normal range. I have gained significant weight, hair falling out, and have sleep apnea. Only have paper copy of scan.

okay, if the thyroid function tests are negative, then the way ahead is by doing an FNA. This essential as the cyst is nearly 2 cm in size.
