Suggest Treatment For Difficulty Walking In A Child With Down Syndrome

Milestones vary from child to child
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Ms
As previously addressed by me. I would bring to your notice the following points.
1. Every Child is unique and have their own development milestones.
2. Even in babies without any chromosomal abnormality it is difficult to predict the expected milestones.
3. There is no fixed time exactly at which given milestone is achieved . There is always a reference range
4. A child should be able to stand with support at around 12 to 14 months of age
5. Child should be able to stand without support around 14 to 16 months.
These are just reference age. The exact time of attainment of milestone varies from baby to baby .
I would suggest you the following
1. Karyotype and confirmation
2. Regular assessment by Child development Clinic
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
Take care
Best regards
