Brief Answer:
No need to concern.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM. The possible explanations for elevated alkaline phosphatase in your blood include:
Benign cholestasis of pregnancy usually resolves with delivery of the baby. However, some markers might stay in the blood for some days.
Alkaline phosphatase is also secreted by bone and intestines. Hence it need not always represent liver disease, especially because other markers are normal.
I would recommend you to repeat testing after lactation period is over. If you see persistent elevation, you can undergo ALP electrophoresis to identify the origin of the enzyme.
Hope I am clear.
