Suggest Treatment For Excessive Sweating
Dear XXXXXXX
Detailed Answer:
Excessive sweats can have multiples reasons. Thyroid problems due to the fact that thyroid controls the metabolism and if the gland is overacting, it can produce excess of sweats. Patients with diabetes can also have episodes of excessive sweating ,mostly when the sugar is low. It is important to have a complete laboratory exam to check Thyroid hormones and blood sugar. Avoid to stay fasting for long periods of time, it is recommended to eat small amount of food every 4 hrs in order to keep the metabolism active and without big changes in the hormones that can produce low sugar and excessive sweats. Overweight is also another reason for this. I recommend to keep hydrated with at least 32 onz of water daily.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for reply to my answer.Head sweat is a common location of the excessive sweating or hyperhydrosis. We have a lot of sudoriferous glands in the scalp and that is why we see a lot of sweating in this area. You have low thyroid and has been treated but the metabolism is slow in patients with hypothyroidism . It is important to check levels of TSH to make sure that you are controlled with the medication.
