Suggest Treatment For Molluscum Contagiosum In The Genital Area

Question: Best way to tackle genital molluscum contagious?
Recently have been diagnosed, I've noticed a few small, but obvious bumps. I've been doing a lot of research and it just seems like they're a lot of options.. I'd prefer to get them scrapped off but I've read they can just grow right back. I want them gone fast and forever. I'd go as far as taking a anti viral, having them freezed or scrapped and using a cream because it seems inevitable some small ones will be missed if they are too small to see or new ones may be coming.. and from what I've read if you get rid of them all it doesn't reoccur and is not contagious so that's crucial. I'm also worried about there being a ton.. I just noticed hair follicles all over the area apoear to be raised and could be molluscum too. from what I remember I've had noticeable hair follicles in that region as long as I can remember and never thought twice about it. just 2 months ago did I notice what I thought was a mole on my inner thigh and just a week ago obvious bumps of molluscim appearing around my penis. I'm just mostly worried about the nightmare of it reoccurring and spreading if not attacked aggressively.
also I'm going to the dermatologist soon to have it treated and I'm concerned because the main dermatologist retired and they told me I'd be seeing a "practicianer specialist" so my concern is she may not know the best method or even if she's seen a case such as mine before as I will be entrusting her to make the best decision for me. so any perspective could help. I do understand all doctors are highly trained but it's still a little concerning to me
please ask for any details/pictures that you may need and I'll oblige.
thank you in advance

Brief Answer:
Radiofrequency cautery is the treatment of choice
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the pictures.
I have reviewed them and its certain that you are having mollusca contagiosum.
Since its a contagious viral skin infection its prudent to treat it as soon as possible before it spreads to other sites.
In my practise, I generally recommend treating them in one shot with radiofrequency cautery.
Cauterization completely denatures the infected tissue and thus proves to be the best and highly effective treatment.
I would suggest you to enquire about the radiofrequency cautery treatment from your dermatologist and go for it as early as possible.
Hope your query is resolved.
Take care
