Suggest Treatment For Severe Nausea And Bumps On The Breasts
The chance of pregnancy is extremely low
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
A pregnancy test will take about two weeks to turn positive. Given that you had intercourse more than two weeks ago, a pregnancy test should be accurate in terms of indicating whether or not you are pregnant. The episode 10 days ago did not involve ejaculation and also involved a condom, so this could not lead to pregnancy. Just continuing the active pills does not increase the chance of pregnancy but sometimes it can lead to some breakthrough bleeding which is what you might be noticing when you mentioned the light pinkish / red discharge.
Also, the slight variation in terms of when you took the pills on the one day (6 hours late) would not have affected the effectiveness of the pills either. This is of low concern.
That all being said, nothing is 100% and you should:
1. Check a pregnancy now and again in about one week
2. Consider stopping the pills, expect a withdrawal bleed, and restart on Sunday (sort of an earlier restart)
3. If you are anxious about the effectiveness of the pill, consider the Mirena IUD - it is much more effective and you don't have to worry about missing a pill.

Your symptoms are likely hormonal but not related to pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
I think that the IUD sounds like a great idea in your case. With regard to concerns about pregnancy, given that you take the pill regularly and use condoms, concerns about pregnancy are very likely unfounded.
I have heard your complaint before - the metallic taste in the mouth and I will be honest - there is really no great explanation. It could be related to hormonal changes as I have heard it described during the second half of cycles. It could be that you are having some version of a cycle even though you are on the pill and it could very well be related to skipping the placebo pills. But based on how you are stating these facts, it seems clear to me that you are worried about pregnancy.
I am fairly certain that your pregnancy test will be negative.

They are not a specific sign of pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
The changes in the glands surrounding the nipple within the areola can change related to hormones of pregnancy but also with hormones related to your cycle or that you are taking. This fact alone is not a sign of pregnancy and as I stated, the chance of pregnancy is practically zero based on what you have described.

No these are not signs of pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Excess saliva and dry mouth are not signs of pregnancy. Also, temperature instability is not a sign of pregnancy. Overall these are all non-specific symptoms - in other words, they are not specific to pregnancy and could be from other causes. The most likely explanation for the full constellation of just not feeling right is that it is related to your cycle. Please do not stress about this and review my prior answers for clarity.
