Okay. One last doubt. If you can clarify this, I'm closing the discussion. I'm sorry for perturbing you. I've known by far that Achalasia can be operated through 1. Endoscopy (Pneumatic Dilation) 2. Laproscopy 3. Heller's Myotomy (Open Surgery) Please tell me the chances or probabilities of success in every case and what would you prescribe or opine on which mode of surgery would be better? Thank you.

Brief Answer: Please see the details Detailed Answer: Hello! 1. Clinical efficacy of Pneumatic dilatation ranges from 40 to 95%. 2. Laproscopic Heller's Myotomy success rate is 85-95% 3. Heller' Myotomy success rate is around 90-95% Among these three laproscopic surgery or pneumatic dilatation are the best option. Among these you have to opt for one. Although laparoscopic Heller myotomy is invasive, its morbidity and mortality are low. On the other hand, pneumatic dilation has a reported perforation rate that averages 3%, however in experienced hands this complication rate is less than 1%. One drawback in Pneumatic dilatation is sometime more than once dilatation has to be done. So in my opinion, however it may differ from doctor to doctor Laproscopic Heller's Myotomy will be the best
