What Could Cause Constipation And Paste Like Brown Stools With History Of Achalasia And Heller Myotomy Surgery?
hi there, I am 44 years old and I have achalasia and 7 years ago I had heller myotomy surgery that worked great. I have been suffering from constipation and I have been taking 3 times a day Resorlax and I have no pan, no diarrhea,no feeling to push, but I have paste like brown stuff seeping out of my rectum. What does this mean?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. Achalsia got cured by the heller myotomy surgery. so now the food is passing to the stomach. For constipation you are using resolax 3 times daily, and it might be making the intestines to move fast, and don't allow to set the stools.hence the stool is jelly like. If you want to change the consistency ,consult a gastro enterologist for this purpose. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms to havetheresolax 2 times daily and to have more water. Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods. Also avoid un timely foods to avoid irritation of the bowel. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
