What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Leukemia?
Question: Our dentist just told my daughter that she should be tested for Leukemia because her gums bled. She is currently taking Vyvanse for ADHD, she is 20 years old, and can honestly say that she has some of the symptoms of Leukemia but they can also be attributed to side effects of the Vyvanse.
Should we be overly concerned.

I must assure you that there are number of conditions which can cause gum bleed and leukaemia is just one among them. In my opinion before it get tested please no not assume anything as it is likely to add further stress to all of you rather than helping in any regard.
For example simple vitamin C deficiency can cause gum bleed and even Vyvanse is associated with gum bleed.
However considering the worst possibility I will request you to not to delay.
