What Causes Delay In Menstruation While On Deviry?

Question: I had unprotected sex on the 24th may 2016 after which my period date was 17th XXXXXXX i did not get my periods then on the 27th XXXXXXX i got a USG done which was normal and a blood beta hcg which also came negative. I have taken deviry for 5 days 2 tablets a day and its been 10 days afer deviry i havent got my periods wat shud i do?

If you are not having any periods even after finishing a regesterone/ Deviry therapy for 5 days, then the following causes needs to be ruled out :-

1. Pregnancy - urine test will help in excluding pregnancy.

2.Thyroid hormone deficiency- A simple blood test will help in excluding hypothyroidism.

3. Premature menopause- Blood FSH levels will help in diagnosis.

I suggest you to visit your gynecologist to undergo physical check up and also to undergo relevant investigations required in your case.

I have already taken a beta hcg test around 10 days before it says it is less than 2mlU....so can i still be pregnant?
