Question: I had successful cardio version 4 days ago. I am still in sinus rhythm (according to my B/P machines heart monitor). I still feel uneasiness in my chest and slight pressure. Is this normal?
Brief Answer:

Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,
Thanks for the query. Some patients still feel "uneasy" in the chest after converting to sinus rhythm, which usually subsides over a few days. However, by your clinical history you have several risk factors for cardiovascular disease, including male gender, age, HTN, sleep apnea and atrial fibrillation, so now that you are back to sinus it may be reasonable to talk to your cardiologist about doing a stress test.
Hope that helps, wish you the best,
