What Causes Discomfort In The Folds Of Knee?

Question: Hi I have a question I have developed a continues like cramp or discomfort behind my knee on my left leg especially when I lie down it gets worse. Is it something of concern?
I have had this condition for more then a week and it seems like it is getting worse.

Get an XRay and Ultrasound done.

Hello,
It could be a sprain in the muscles or a cyst in that area(Called a Bakers cyst) or very rarely a Popliteal artery aneurysm.
It is extremely difficult to comment without examining you.
In any case, you should see your GP and get an XRay of the knee and Ultrasound done to know the cause of the pain.
Then the treatment can be decided upon. Its not an emergency but you should get it done at the earliest.
Do not worry, it does not sound anything serious but it would be better to know what you are dealing with.
