What Causes Frequent Bouts Of Mild Nausea?

Question: I am experiencing frequent bouts of mild nausea . At first I put it down to excessive alcohol consumption but I haven't had a drink since Monday ( when I drank a bottle of vodka ) and still get this nauseous feeling. No other symptoms . I am diabetic type 2 . I am very worried I may have stomach cancer
Brief Answer:
Medicines for Acidity/ nausea / Endoscopy
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The best way to alleviate the fear of cancer is to undergo Upper GI Endoscopy.
This will rule out cancer as well as diagnose the cause of nausea. The cause can be gastritis, duodenitis or ulceration.
I would advise such a patient::
Ranitindine
Domperodone
Antacid gel
Soft bland diet.
No alcohol, hot spicy food, avoid too cold and too hot foods or beverages.
No late nights, no stress, complete sound sleep.
I hope your diabetes is well under control .
