What Causes Headaches, Joints Pain, Vitamin-D Deficiency And Anaemia?
Question: I feel bad all the time. I hurt. I get headaches. My joints hurt a lot. I have little or no energy. Blood work showed vitamin d deficient and anemic. I have under active thyroid. I have allergies. I'm depressed. I try to eat healthy food I can pronounce and I drink a lot of water. I don't smoke. I drink some alcohol weekly . I don't know what to do. What do you think? I'm 52 and female. Lead a very basic life. I usually like to do all kinds of fun outdoor sports like climbing and biking , rafting, skiing. But if this keeps up I'll be old before my time. Please help. I would love to just feel like walking my dog. I had the flu a couple weeks ago. What is wrong with me...?..?? I wanna feel good again. I have a job as a teacher which requires lots of energy. Would blood work show if my heart was the problem?

Brief Answer:
I would optimize the medications that you are taking.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. Sorry to hear about the blues that you have, at lookign at your medication list it will appear that you are taking the correct medications, you seem down ant still depressed from the sounds of it, the medications take about 6-8 weeks to take effect, and sometimes if that does not work then the antidepressant class will need to be changed. As for the hypothyroidism that level needs to be checked after 6 weeks to make sure that you are on the right dose. The anemia that you are treating with iron supplement will take a linger time to correct as will the Vitamin D. I hope that this helps you out. Good luck.
