What Causes Late Periods, Constipation And Nausea With Negative UPT?

TV Ultrasound and a gynecological consult
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
If there has been no previous history of menstrual irregularities and periods were normal and regular then i am sure the prolongation of cycle to almost 40 days is most likely a pregnancy. The best home pregnancy test comes positive after day 33 and should be positive and they can come false negative as their specificities are not very much to the reliable levels. Now the 40th day is almost here and i suggest a trans vaginal sonogram to confirm the pregnancy. If there is no confirmation of pregnancy there then there are other things which can delay the periods and cause symptoms like pregnancy. Vaginal tract infections like PID, vaginitis and cervicitis are top on that list but that should be the second possibility after ruling out the pregnancy which a trans vaginal sonogram would confirm for sure at day 40 since last menstrual period which is april 18.
Meanwhile try some antispasmodics, topical hygiene gels like biomousse gels, metronidazole gels or oral usage of 500 mg twice a day and seek a gynaecologist at the earliest convenience for connecting the dots further.
I hope it helps. Don't forget to close the discussion please.
