Question: i have been having tender breast off and on the past 2 weeks and twinges in my lower pelvic area, i had an odd period on 12/4 (not norm for me) and then on 12/25 i had mucus with blood spots and then dark stringy discharge up until this morning when i started a light bleeding. what is going on

I read your question and i understand your concern. Tender breast, pain in lower abdomen, odd periods, mucous bloody discharge all are very likely causes of some genitourinary tract infections like cervicitis, vaginitis or PID. Hormonal imbalance can also cause it but that is very unlikely.

You should consult an ObGyn, let them run some genital swabs on you. Test you and give you treatment accordingly. Good coital and toilet habits and hair free groin and use of some hypoallergenic hygiene gels should be considered.
