Brief Answer:
Take Tylenol and Ibuprofen for this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this fall and the pains that you have reported. Pain after a fall is mechanical. Factors like movements and physical exercise can provoke and/or aggravate the pain. If you performed any demanding activity today or made a wrong movement, then it might have provoked/aggravated the pains. I don't think there was a fracture that needs special attention. Even if there was a fracture of the ribs, they are always left alone and only pain medications are recommended.

For this, I will recommend you take a combination of Tylenol and Ibuprofen at doses recommended by your pharmacist. These would control the pain and allow for healing progressively. Unless otherwise, there is no need to seek further medical attention at this time.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Thank you for your response. I had xrays they came back no break. Determined possible hairline fracture or a contusion. How long does this take to heal it seems that the pain is getting stronger after a week already?,

Brief Answer:
Healing often occurs within 4weeks!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the follow up information. Healing generally occurs within a month. The best management plan is to get good pain medications and rest. This would ensure that you stay pain free while healing sets in. Like i recommended above, Tylenol and ibuprofen would be good pain medications to begin with. Icing also helps.

Keep me updated with your progress.
Until next, I wish you well.
