What Causes Persistent Mucus Production When Blood Pressure Decreases?

Question: I have produced lung and sinus mucus for 3 decades (now 61 year old non smoking (smoked 20-22) health guy), ever since a digestive event while running and training for marathons brought my exuberant efforts to a halt. White stool, severe constiaption, ileocecal valve stuck open etc. after the full battery of Mass General testing..nothing, sub-clinical. So holistic approaches for over 1 year brought me back into line and shortly after balancing things mucus began very light green, mostly clear, thick and copious oh and relentless. Soon after first steroid shot to get me back to my "baseline" that helped for no more than 2 weeks. since then full basket of the usual steroid inhalers, singulars, albuterol, spirivas etc. Fast forward 30 years just had my first surgery ever, sucessful FESS procedure for mucus mass in ethmoid and nasal polys galore from years of what is decribed above. Just got a new pulmonologist CBC , chest xray , 2d echo all normal. I have no other health conditions..recent allergy test allergist said nothing to speak of. THE REASON I'M WRITING IS FOR AN OPINION ON THE FOLLOWING EMPIRICALLY BASED FACTS. When my systemic blood pressure rises above 140/90 mucus production lessens..at 160/100 over a number of days mucus production actually stops and I get a reset. My bp is 120/80 usually until I sucessfully supress mucus production over a few months with 250/50 advair or much sooner if I use 500/50. It is not the steroid, it"s the supression of symptoms. when I go to Sante FE the dryness plus roid inhaler raises pressure so I need to get off inhaler after 3-4 days the mucus returns and pressure drops to normal. when i was younger cut my leg 8 stiches mucus stopped whole time I was healing then returned. 6 months ago got hit by line drive on wrist in baseball batting cage, severe contusion, no break but deep pervasive bruising, mucus stopped and got high bp almost immediatly tapered off inhaler, got it to normalize. Immune system seems very selective. I took bp meds (lotensin 20mg) for 2 years 15 years ago to stay on other meds and when pressure dropped to 110/65-70 mucus literally doubled in volume and I received most of my steroid shots during that time (none since). so I do one puff per day advair 250/50 plus nac herbs quercetin etc but lungs are usually congested and I perform poorly on lung function tests and back off from the strenuous( but still walk 2 miles a day and swim. I have good insurance with deductable satisfied so I'll be getting every test there is this year. But I am not confident because not one medical pro (including pulmo) since 1985 has seen this particular type of reaction in their practice. Thats my question, have u seen it? There is little doubt that the mucus production is protecting my heart pretty well. I basically ran thru a wall when I was 30 and changed internal relationships. Shed some light if you can.. peace... Honestly speaking, I have not come across such reaction in my medical career.
What I believe is stress and anxiety related symptoms is more in your case.
Stress and anxiety can cause and worsen lung conditions like asthma, COPD.
You are poor at lung functions and having a lot of mucus, these are common with asthma and COPD.
So please let me know
