What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Fingers Upon Waking Up?

Question: Hi, for several weeks now I wake up in the early morning hours and my left hand ring and middle fingers are tingling, I try other liing positions and sometimes it helps but mostly not until I finally get up around 4:45 am for work...now, for the most part, it stays with me through the day on the very tips of those fingers. In addition, every once in a while the right hand gets involved but goes away??
