What Causes Tiredness While Treating Hypertension?
Question: I'm 66 years of age. Don't smoke or drink. take med. for high blood pressure. Been feeling very tired lately. Not sleepy, just a feeling of sluggishness. Is there anything over the counter that use that restore my energy levels.

How is your diet? Generally, increasing vegetables and to some extent, fruits, and decreasing simple carbohydrates (added sugars, refined flour) can help with energy levels.
Now about over the counter things you can take, there are "adaptogen" herbals that can be taken as supplements and teas (ginseng is an example), but before getting into that, I think it would be best to have a medical evaluation for your fatigue.
