Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
Veltam 0.4 mg (Tamsulosin) is a subtype of alpha blockers(alpha1) and act as smooth muscles relaxants and helps to improve urination especially in person with prostate problem in male.
It is also used for kidney stone removal by causing further dilatation of ureter.
But its role is not clearly known in women.
So, please provide me some information.
Do you have problem of kidney stone?
Do you have a burning urination?
Which doctor prescribed this tablet?
Kindly get back to me with this answers.

Urine culture is negative
Brief Answer:
See urologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome again and thanks for sharing more information.
If you do not have kidney stone and there is no urinary tract infection (urine culture negative),then I do not think there is any role of tab.veltam which may be useful to you.
In that case, you should seek advise from urologist who may order urethro-cystoscopy after complete clinical examination since your ultrasound and urine culture reports are inconclusive.
