What Causes White Spots In Stool?
Question: I have been having round bowel movements that are lighter than normal & have white spots in it.
Brief Answer:
Steatorhea...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
From your description, the close possibility that I think off is steatorrhea (fatty deposits in stool). Occasionally you would get this from a heavy fatty meal. I wouldn't be worried about it if subsequent bowel movements are normal.
You can watch the type and consistency for stools for the next two days before visiting your physician.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
Not too much...
Detailed Answer:
Mixed nuts, the omega fatty acid and primrose oil have some fat content in it. You need to check with a nutritionist if the fat content from this food is above your normal requirement. The unusual stool that you had may or may not be from this composition of diet.
I would suggest you to try switching to a high fibre meals - plenty of vegetables, fruits and greens and see if you get better. You can restart the omega fatty acid and primrose oil after discussing with your treating physician.
In simple terms, I am not concerned about the type of stool you had. I would consider exploring for other causes if it persists say for more than a week.
Hope this helps.
Regards
