Brief Answer:
Surgical repair is the only treatment.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
You have a complete tear of two major ligaments. This will not heal with conservative treatment or physiotherapy. Your knee will remain unstable in case a surgical repair is not done. Surgery is the only option for you right now. You can opt for arthroscopic surgery. It will help in an earlier recovery.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Hi Sir,
Thanks for your reply!!
Do i really require surgery for MCL?
ACL PCL surgery is mandatory i think as per your suggestion .How long it will take to recovery for ACL/PCL reconstruction ?
I am belonging to IT filed.
Also i consulted one XXXXXXX most Orthopedist in Bangalore(Dr Khincha HPC) and he suggested physiotherapy for 10 days in order to reduce swelling and pain and come back after 3 weeks.
Again i visited last week and he suggested me like We will see for another 6 weeks and things will settle down in knee if any and i cannot comment any now.
Continue the ACL protocal(execersies) for next 6 weeks and come back?
I really confused now why he is suggesting to wait till 6 weeks?
Could you please confirm regarding above comments by Khincha?
If i take ACL/PCL surgery mnow,is there any problems with this surgery for future as i am still 30 years and this will cause any issues in future?
Please do the needful?
Thanks in advance!!

Brief Answer:
Surgery is necessary.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Surgery is needed for ACL and PCL. During this surgery, medial meniscus reconstruction can be done. After the surgery it takes 4-6 weeks for complete healing.
Waiting for another 6 weeks is not advisable. Delaying the surgery decreases the chances of proper healing. It is better to go for a second opinion from another orthopedic surgeon who can give you an earlier appointment.
The surgery helps in healing and will not cause any issues in future.
Hope my answer is helpful.
