What Do These Following Thyroid Function Test Results Indicate?
we repeated my wife TFT test after 6 weeks and please find report attached.
All her parameters are within range. Please advise if we need to change dosage now to maintain normal levels of TSH
The dosage of the thyroid hormone replacement therapy is OK for the moment.

Hello
I read carefully your question and understood your concern
Your wife's actua thyroid function test results are all within the normal range. This means that the dosage of thyroid hormone replacement therapy 125 mcg /day is OK for now.
If you want to have a strict control of the thyroid function(and to maintain a normal level of TSH) i suggest to repeat the TFT after 6 weeks and if the thyroid test results are stable, than the follow up is necessary after 3 months.
(I'm sure that your wife will have normal results ,anyway let me know if she have problems with the test results after 6 weeks, and i will be happy to help to adjust the dosage of the thyroid medication.
Hope i have answered to your questions.

Can you please review earlier thread and reports attached in it and then current report and advise?
My advice is:Continue with the same dose of Levothyroxine for now.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
wellcome back
The reports of the thyroid tests of 26/11/2016 are suggestive for subclinical hypothyroidism.
Subclinical hypothyroidism, also referred to as mild thyroid failure, is diagnosed when peripheral thyroid hormone levels are within the normal range, but thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) is mildly elevated.(5-10 uU/ml).
In this case if you take thyroid hormone replacement therapy(Levothyroxine),it is necessary to increase the dosage if you want to normalize TSH.
In the last thyroid test results everythink is within the normal range. This means that the actual dosage 125 mcg is Ok for the moment.
Levothyroxine works best if you take it on an empty stomach,at least 30 minutes before breakfast and try to take the medicine at the same time each day.
Avoid the following food products, which can make your body absorb less levothyroxine: infant soy formula, cotton seed meal, walnuts, and high-fiber foods.
My advice for your wife is to repeat the TFT after 6 weeks for a strict follow up of her thyroid condition.
If thyroid function is normal at that time, serum TSH measurement should be done again in 3 to 6 months and once the proper maintenance dose of levothyroxine is achieved, the clinical evaluation and a serum TSH measurement is necessary at least annually, or as clinically indicated.
Hope my information is helpful.
Take care.
