Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to Hcm,
Most of the reports are normal, just that the ESR is high which is possible due to often helminthiasis or allergies. The presence of pus cells and epithelial cells in urine routine microscopy indicates a urinary tract infection, which shall explain high ESR as well. Hb of 14.1 gm% is a good value and shows no anemia.
Rest all the tests are normal.
At 5 weeks of pregnancy, it is suggested that she should be on folic acid tab 5mg daily and if nausea and vomiting persists then doxinate may be taken thrice a day if required. At present for UTI, Tab nitrofurantoin 100mg thrice a day for 7 days may be started to treat urinary infection as sometimes persistent UTI may become a cause of unwanted threatened abortion.
You may discuss the nitrofurantoin option with your obstetrician, and should be placed on therapeutic dose for 7 days and then one tab daily as prophylaxis dose for remaining pregnancy after confirmation of viability of foetus by ultrasound.
The first ultrasound should be done at 6-7 weeks of gestation to identify the heart beat of the foetus and also the placentation adequacy. So its due in next 10 days.
I hope i have answered your query in detail,
Wishing her safe pregnancy,
Regards

We googled and found this is generally usual an increase in epithelial cell count during pregnancy, but it was also advised to get it tested again in lab.
My wife says she didnt took bath before going for test that could be the reason for contamination reported.
We are more concern on taking antibiotic for this infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the follow up,
The urinary tract infection is evident with the presence of pus cells which are not a part of urine sample even in non pregnant , and non UTI state. If she is asymptomatic at present then you may chose to wait for the ultrasound confirmation of the viability of foetus first.
nitrofurantoin is absolutely safe during early pregnancy and is the prescribed medication for UTI in pregnancy as per the evidence. But if you are not keen its fine, another simpler way is to increase her water intake so that she is able to flush out the infection sooner.
Never the less the decision for the same can wait till metal viability confirmation after USG. Till then you may continue folsafe daily.
Regards
