3 Months Baby, Constipation. Normal X Rays, Mildly Elevated Tsh. Any Problem Due To Elevated Tsh?
my baby is 90days old[3 months]. she is having constipation upto 10days. but abdomen is soft, no vommitting , no crying and the baby is active with normal milestones, she is regularly breastfeeded regularly once in 2hrs. her weight is 6kg now.no medicines or other feed started. x ray findings suggest normal abdomen and no fluid collection. no rectal abnormalities, the stool is normal, the child is not crying while defecating. thyroid profile shows mildly elevated tsh 6.5iu/ml. is there will be any problem for my baby due to this tsh
increase level of TSH level can nt be ignored . it is slightly high but it is clinicaly significant .iso did u have history of hypothroidism in pregnancy ? are u taking any medication for thyroid disorder? mother having thyroid disorder during pregnancy makes child more prone to develop same disorder . u should consult with your child doctor .
