After Cipro Also My Stomach Pains,burning And Delayed Periods After The Infection.

I just had a bladder infection, took cipro which worked. Now, I have been having a lot of stomach pain, hurting, some burning and Im peeing often, and a lot. Also got my period after 18 days, which I thought might have been from the infection. I do feel some relief when I pee. Not sure what to do, or what could help.

Hello
There was urine infection ( bladder ) and you used ciprofloxacin tablets ( these are quinolones) and this causes hyper acidity ,hence burning sensation in abdomen.
When such patient visit to me I usually advise them to take antacid but if symptoms are severe ( burning sensation )they may need drugs like proton pump inhibitors like pantaloc -D .
As you mentioned that after urination you feel relief i.e still infection may be there , so get in urine culture and sensitivity test .
2nd reason of such type of symptoms may be due to calculus in urinary tract system . Diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of abdomen ( both kidneys as well urinary tract system ).
In my opinion consult primary care physician and get his opinion.
