Am A Chain Smoker, Drink Alcohol, Had Oral Sex. Now Have Slight Fever, Tonsil Pain, Puss Coming Out Of Tonsil. HIV?
hi doctor,
i had a left tonsil pain with a slight fever for one night and then gone after i took panadol, after one month my left tonsil inflamed suddenly and cured after 4 days on its own then my right one inflamed also with pain when i put my finger on it,after one week my tongue was slightly white and my left tonsil have a feel like something stuck in my throat when i swallow,all this gone after 2 weeks.all this happened after 7 days of oral sex with my girl friend.
i'm a smoker that smokes a 40 cigarette per day and during this period i was changing my type of cigarettes,i also drink alcohol. just note till this day my left tonsil when i squeeze it a gray or white puss goes out.
is this an early hiv symptom???

Enlargement of tonsils, and Tonsillitis is a very common condition for everybody. Especially it is quite common with oral sex. We can not label anybody with these symptoms as HIV manifestation.
Moreover earliest HIV manifestation can occur only after 3-4 weeks of risky contact, not after 4 days.
Cigarette smoking is also a risk factor for Tonsillitis.
The risk of HIV transmission through oral sex with a girl is very low only.
A HIV screening test will alleviate your tension.
