Any Advise For Swelling In Ears, Face And Ear Canal Is Shut After Had Ear Syringed?

Hi, I had my ear syringed on Tuesday but since then my ear and right side of my face is swollen. The whole of my ear cannal is completely shut and it's closed up so my hearing is not good. I can hear ringing and swishing noises like I'm shaking my head. My ear face and jaw is painful to touch and I am getting shooting pains in my ear. Do I need to see a doctor or will it clear it's self? Thank you

Hi. Syringing of your ear has led to infection of your external ear. If I were your doctor I would advise you to
1.take antibiotics such as Augmentin
2.Use icthyol covered ear wicks three times daily to reduce infection and swelling.
3. Immediately go to an ENT specialist if you develop high fever
