Back Pain And Knee Pain After Acupuncture. How Can I Treat This Problem ?
How you doin Dr. My name is Peter I had a little problem,I have a bulging disc L5-S1 it happened couple of months ago,to heal the problem ive been doing Physical therapy , chiropractor treatment ,and still wasnt feeling better,after all this i had acupuncture treatment about month ago,after that it got worse than before.This dr, used bigger needles and my left knee is sore for about a month,my right side of my lower back and right leg is like radiating pain and tingling and burning sunsation, I dont know what to do,this acupuncture got me worse.How i can treat this problem to get better if you know the answer please let me know

What is the reason for your back pain ? Back pain may be from spondylitis , arthritis of facets , disc prolapse , nerve impingement or muscles...some uncommon but not rare causes are infection & tumors. Ask your doctor for a perfect diagnosis & get the cause treated.
Please get MRI of spine done after baseline X rays of Knee & Spine and MRI of Spine , if needed we can MRI Knee also. Also go for blood Investigations. It costs about 300 USD in India. Once we find out exact cause we can treat the problem in a true way.

from your description it looks like you are having prolapse inter vertebral disc (PID) impinging on your nerve root. the treatment for PID is conservative or operative depending upon symptos deficits and response to treatment. in your case ill advice you to visit a competent spinal surgeon and get the disc removed. final decision will depend upon clinical and radiological findings.
