Bad Headache, Pain While Blinking Or Laughing Hard. No Help From Ibuprofen. History Of Head Being Hit To Chair. Suggest

I hit the front of my head on a chair last night on the left side. It hurt, but I thought that I would just get a bruise during the night. I woke up this morning, and I had a very bad headache. I work with horses, and I rode today, so I had to wear a helmet, and it put pressure on where I hit it. After I got off it hurt a little more. The bump that I had did go down thankfully. It hurts to blink, and sometimes when I laugh hard. I took some ibuprofen around 12:40 in the afternoon and I feel as if it didn't do a thing. I still have a headache at the moment. I am not dizzy, nor am I seeing double of anything.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, it appears to be the bump due to injury, and it hurts on pressure. It is to be treated, so i advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe ofloxacin, and anti inflamatories for pain relief. Thank you.
