Been Advised Cefadroxil And Sodium Compress For Abscess On Leg, Have Repeated Occurrence. Is This Serious?

In the past 3 months I have had about 4 abscess' s one after the other. They have all been on my thighs accept 1 which was at the top of my leg near my vagina. I used a warm compress with salt on and they cleared up quite quickly. The latest 1 is the worst, have had it a week, it seems to be getting worse so went to the doctor today. Just started taking antibiotics, 500mg cefadroxil and applaying a sodium compress twice daily and also ointment for the inflamation.I have been told not to get it wet. Could these be a link to something more serious? I am only 21. Would greatly appreciate any advice, Thank you

Abscess is not a serious condition if treated early. What you have been prescribed by your doctor is sufficient. Proper hygiene of the area is necessary. It will resolve in few days.
