Is It Safe To Take Cefadroxil Drozid During Pregnancy?
hi, i had a mild infection seen through gramstain and my doctor was prescribe me cefadroxil drozid 500 mg 2x a day and im pregnant 6 weeks,and i completely took those meds in 1 week, is it safe to my baby?im worried since i heared to others that antibiotic during pregnancy is not good.thank u..

As such antibiotics should be avoided in first trimester of pregnancy untill and unless its absolutely necessary for mother to recieve antibiotics. Cefodroxil is category B drug . so its safe in pregnancy and no teratogenic effects observed.
