I am on an insulin pump. My only foot is swollen. I had a doppler ultrasound and was good flow. X-Ray with no problems. They said arthuritis. 800mg Ibuprofen. Keep it up and wrap and soak when possible. It hurts real bad and still very swollen. Is there a otc remedy?
I have gone through your query carefully and understood your concerns.
As you are on insulin pump your sugars should be well under control. I am very happy you are this conscientious because having a well controlled blood sugar is very important in preventing the onset of diabetic complications in my opinion most probably you might be suffering from condition called cellulitis. This cellulitis is due to infection in the skin,it is most commonly seen in uncontrolled diabetes. This kind of infections needs antibiotics So i suggest you to meet doctor and take advise as infections in diabetes are spread very fast in body Best Regards.
