Black Mole On Lower Back. Painful, Squishy And Large. Is It Dangerous?

I have a pretty large black mole on my lower back that s been there for years now. About 3 days ago it has started being really painful, looks larger, and feels squishy. It almost looks deflated right now. Its itchy around the perimeter of the mole sometimes. It definitely feels like its full of fluid whereas it was usually hard. Could it be dangerous?

Hello,

In view of symptoms and fluid filled feeling, first possibility would be abscess formation or a local infection.

But rarely moles can become cancerous. So ideal would be to get this checked by doctor.

Regards.
