My 7 year old daughter has had histories of urinary infections, but today when she pees there is blood on paper and in toliet. Could it be another urinary infection or is it something worse. Should I take her to ER now?
SEE THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS WHICH CAN RESULT IN HEMATURIA --RITE FROM KIDNEYS TO BLADDER .....but most commonly it is in this age group is either trauma or nephritis ......ALLU CAN DO IS 1ST GET A routine micro of urine done along with serum creatinine and hb /tlc/dlc/esr.....this will clear the situation ...u shud also then move to a paediatrician

hi from the above history of recurrent UTI ,in this case its important for you to get a urine routine and culture done .but only hematuria is not an indication it has to be associated with fever and chills .and get bleeding and clotting time done .it would be better to have a consultation as soon as possible if the hematuria persists.
thank you
