Blood, White Mucus In Pee. Irritation, Burning. Is This A Bladder Infection?
Hey. Im 20 years old. No kids. Lately I have been having blood and white mucus when I go pee. Today I had a bloody looking mucus clot the size of a quarter when I went pee. Why? What is going on? For a month now I have been having some irritation and burning, I put it off as a bladder infection. Is that what this is? I've only been drinking water, its seems not to be helping really.
Blood and mucus in urine is denoting severe urinary tract infection. This infection is caused due to bacteria usually when there is lack of personal hygeine. It is associated with severe itching and burning when passing urine. Also frequency of urination also increases. It could be associated with vaginal discharge.
Maintain clean hygiene, drink at least 3-4 litres of water to flush out the pathogens, consult your OBGYN doctor for advice. A full course of antibiotics (Norflox) would help.
